February 09, 2026 - Turtle racing is an underrated motorcycle racing sport that involves mastery of the clutch, throttle and rear brake.  It is a slow speed race on a motorcycle where the slowest rider wins.  The classes will be at an  intermediate skill level where riders will be able to practice, learn and enhance their riding skills giving them valuable training to help master their bike handling skills.  This will make riding motorcycles much more enjoyable while building their confidence.  The classes are free; however, we rely heavily on donations to keep these classes going free to the public.  All riders that are endorsed and non-endorsed may participate in trainings, as long as they own their own bike and wear proper safety gear.  In order to compete in sanctioned AMA T.E.X.A.S. Turtle Racing competitions riders must be members of the American Motorcyclist Association.  We are currently planning classes in Victoria and Corpus Christi, Texas.  The first exhibition skills demo of Turtle Racing will be held publicly in Victoria, Texas at the T.E.X.A.S. Bikes and Coffee Mixer located at Velocity Motorsports 2604 N. Navarro St, Victoria, TX 77901.  Date of the event is February 28, 2026 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
