
T.E.X.A.S. Motorcycle Academy

The motorcycle academy will be offering free training for individuals who own and are operating a motorcycle. The trainings will be held at various locations in Victoria and Nueces Counties. The trainings will be mostly slow speed skills for preparing for future sanctioned racing events.

Purpose: The exercise is designed to improve low-speed maneuverability, confidence, balance and consistency, often used in training academies and for, as the idiom goes, "slow and steady wins the race".

How to Ride: Participants keep their arms relaxed, use all fingers around the throttle (do not cover the front brake), and heavily rely on feathering the clutch and using the rear brake for stability.

Technique: Riders maintain an upright, relaxed posture, squeeze the tank with their legs, and avoid putting weight on the handlebars to maximize balance.
